Paul Terry is a composer, songwriter, producer, and bestselling author. His main composer showreel is here.

Paul's SkyBabyRecords discography (from 1999-present: more than 600 tracks across 60+ releases) is a permanent part of the British Library's Sound & Moving Image collection. His latest album Alternative Piano Club is out now.

 

Aptøsrs (pronounced "apatosaurus") is his instrumental project. Critically acclaimed debut album Elders is mixed by Adam Noble (Biffy Clyro, Paul McCartney), and mastered by Grammy nominee Robin Schmidt (Royal Blood, Wolf Alice).

 

As a composer, Paul's 30+ original scores include: the award-winning Dave Stevens: Drawn to Perfection; 13-time award-winning documentary Sidney & Friends; thriller Hidden Valley Place (music mixed by Grammy winner Sam Okell); and Raindance Film Festival Award-nominated drama Emily (co-composed with James Bellamy), starring two-time Oscar nominee Felicity Jones and BAFTA nominee Christopher Eccleston, and written & directed by BAFTA nominee Caroline Harvey.

 

His Cellarscape albums include Exo Echo, featuring "Failsafe" (the theme song to NBCUniversal's docu-series Behind The Panel). The IMA-nominated The Act Of Letting Go album contains "The Same Place", a duet with Anneke van Giersbergen. Other collaborations include being the featured artist on "Detonation Days" by Love Amongst Ruin (former Placebo drummer Steve Hewitt).

​As an author, Paul concept-created/wrote the award-winning, in-world book series The X-Files: The Official Archives. Fiction credits includes Kolchak: The Night Stalker – Haunted & Hunted (his official anthology of five original prose stories); and John Carpenter's Tales for a HalloweeNight Vol. 12. His numerous official film/TV books include (with Tara Bennett) the bestselling The Story of Marvel Studios: The Making of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
